I was informed by 2Sharp2 on my member introduction thread that it is MANDATORY LAW to post pics anytime a shoe change occurs so….. here are my collection babies I mentioned in my introduction post. The .45 Stainless Ultra II is wearing anodized steel “Dixie” grips from Wicked Grips and is my first and oldest Kimber EDC. Let me just say in pre-emptive defense, that flag is representative of my southern pride and nothing else. And unlike Skynyrd or Alabama my pockets aren’t lightened by flying it proudly. I know why it’s gone up for some fools, and my thought is those fools gonna be fools regardless. Sure, a lot of damage has been done in symbolism, but if you let the world tell you to fold something you love and put it away in shame then you’ve let them define it for you. I’d rather carry that Southern Cross on my back, take the controversy that comes with it and have the conversation about it with anyone willing instead. I don’t deny the complicated and embattled history behind it (depending on who’s telling the story), but for me being born in 1990 it’s always been about regional pride and seeing it flying felt like I was “home”. I’d also present that throughout history there’s been some damage done at times in the name of the Christian cross of Jesus as well, but I’d never deny and fold my faith or Bible and put them away either. Stainless will remain in EDC rotation with my brand new .45 Sapphire Ultra II pictured wearing Faux Ivory Compact 1911 shoes from LS Grips and polished stainless sapphire gemstone grip screws from Wicked Grips. The 9mm Sapphire Ultra II is unfired and unmodified and will “probably” remain that way. In the spirit of the season my carry models are stuffed in Galco Combat Master stockings. Got one in each leather because I still believe my boots, belt, hat, (and in this case) holster leather oughtta match. Merry Christmas everyone!

I’m happy someone listened to me! I like all the pistols and ALL the shoes!

For the record I fly the State of Tennessee Confederate flag here at the headquarters. Because I can and cause some of your reasons.

Not had any complaints or threats…

Well then, a warm welcome from the far reaches of The Empire, the High Desert of Central Orygun.
Sounds like you're pre-approved by Arland, and by the looks of your collection, and the mention of leather for the carry mode of choice, you match all the qualifications of KT membership.
You may be young (by our 'Geezer' standards), but the correct boxes have been checked! Welcome aboard!

Another Ultra fanboy....my Ultra CDP in .45 of course (one of three):

We look forward to seeing your posts.

Amen! Keep it flyin! Resist tyranny! And I’m glad to have your signature approval. The last thing I wanna do is soil the Sapphire’s good name.

Man, that’s a sharp looking 2 tone. And don’t let that age fool ya. I’m still convinced I showed up about 30 years past my due date. I’d have rather grown up with Waylon, Merle, & Hank Jr on the radio & seen Earnhardt’s entire career live rather than just reliving my childhood days on YouTube. After all that time I spent lurking here, Arland’s approval means a lot to me.
