I bought the Kimber ambi safety and installed it in about 15 minutes on my Pro-Carry. Dropped right in and works perfectly.

If any of you guys are thinking of doing this, there is really nothing to it.

I installed ambi safeties on a couple of my Brownings. They can make a huge difference. I just installed a Wilson extended slide release on the Kimber. The doubled sided safety may well be next on the list.

One of the first things I did with my Super Carry Pro was to install a Wilson extended slide release followed by a Wilson flat wire recoil spring. No more paper clip required to break it down. I keep all the original parts I replaced on my Kimbers in plastic bags marked with the guns they came from. In the event (god forbid) I ever had to return one to the factory it will go with the original parts so the warranty isn't voided. Kimber can be a real stickler on that and they have been know to change guns back to original state and charging the owners for doing it whether they wanted it done or not.
