Hmm, I think an Onyx Pro would be something I would be very, very tempted to purchase.

That's two Kimber...anyone else?

The Onyx is a great looking Kimber when looking at a picture of it, but one lgs here in town had one and the finish shows every single fingerprint when touched....Sort of like a patent shoe finish..

I tend to agree with you. The Pro size just seems to fit. Not to mention balance and accuracy. I like everything about the 4 inch Kimber pro, Ithink it is best one kimber offers. Then of course all the different models in the pro size. Full size grip and 4" barrel works for me.
I should mention I have not shot my 5" Raptor yet, Icould change my mind depending which one I am fondling at the time.:D

Like a black pickup truck with a perfect shine. Most beautiful thing you've ever seen .... until the next day when all the dirt and hand prints show up.

TRUE! But I got plenty of time for finger print wiping.

My 2 Cents Worth!!

I'm #2 in line behind you GR! I want a Pro sized Onyx, too. I already have a nice new silicone gun rag ready to wipe off finger prints.

I agree with Gator on the black pickup truck!! I had a 1992 Chevy S-10 in black with a red interior. Nice!! I spent a lot of time washing and waxing that thing!!! 4.3 liter V-6 engine! It ran like a scalded dog!!! Just a tad slower than that down right evil black 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air with the 327 cu in/375 HP Corvette engine that I had when I was a snotty nose teenager. Wish I had that one back!!!

Lineman,

What a beautiful car!!! If I had a 1957 Chevy I am not sure it would see the light of day for fear that it would get a speck of dust on it.

That would be like buying a Kimber and leaving it in the safe all the time. Got take em out of the garage or safe and drive them once in a while in order to fully appreciate them. That is a Nice 57.

Hi Guys,

Newbie here on the forum. I am buying my first Kimber tomorrow.

Super excited and can't wait to use that " Rag-Towel" to keep this baby shining for a long time.

So from reading, I assume they don't have a 4 inch version?

Have a great night.

I would have a very hard time deciding between a 9mm or .45 Onyx.
