KHX OR .45 mounting plate problem

Good morning all. I recently purchased a KHX optics ready .45. I then purchased the trijicon rmr and Kimber mounting plate (4000939) for the rmr. My problem now is that although the mounting plate attaches to the slide without issue, the rmr does not align with the 2 tabs on the mounting plate and the screw holes also do not line up with the plate and rmr. I cannot find a different mounting plate, the 4000939 plate seems to be the only one available.

Welcome to the forum.
Maybe call Kimber.
They will help you sort it out.

I have the KHX OR, but I opted for a Holosun, for the better glass, longer battery life, solar panel and ease of battery replacement.

EGW Guns has a pretty big selection of optic plates? If Kimber can't sort it out.

Well, turns out that Kimber packaged the mounting plate incorrectly. The plate I received is for a Vortex venom. Kimber is sending me out the correct plate.

Part of the price of your KHX was for the excellent customer service Kimber provides.

Better CS than 90% of companies in every industry.
Odds are they put your part in the mail at the end of the business day.

Did you use a Kimber mounting plate or an aftermarket one? Just ordered a KHX Pro OR and would like to mount a 507C

Welcome to the forum.
Honestly, I asked the guys at the gun store to slap it on the gun the day I bought it.
They removed the Trijicon optic and mounted the 507. (The Holosun is a better optic than the Trijicon)
I'm pretty sure they don't have aftermarket plates for Kimbers in the shop, so I'm gonna assume it was the one that Kimber uses to mount the Trijicon.
