I have a pair of Scope Mounts in Orig. Box marked 4041, and 30KIM4041.
They are in 2 pieces and have 2 different-sized slot-head screws for each piece. I've been told they may be for a FN Pistol.
Can anyone tell me what they are meant to be used on? Help!

Can anyone help me to identify this pair of Scope Mounts?
They are 2 piece, machined, blued steel with 4 screws.
P/N on the box is 4041, and on tag is 30KIM4041.
I was told they may be for a FN Pistol. ???
Kimber Customer Service said they are no longer in production!
Big Help!

Well, one thing is certain, those bases are not for a FN pistol, as they are marked "Kimber", and Kimber does not make or supply parts for any FN products.

I'd opine that those mounts are for a Kimber bolt gun, a 8400 or the short action 84M.

If you add the hole spacing details to your 'sell' post, owners of the subject rifles could check the hole spacing on their rifles. My Kimber bolt guns all have scopes mounted, so hard to determine the hole spacing with a scope and rings added.

To: "Rick in Oregon" That's a great idea to add the hole spacing dim's. I can also add other dim's to make it more relevant. Thank-you.

To: Chattanooga Phil, I'm the Seller in that ad, and still don't know what they're designed to be used on. Maybe more than one firearm! A Kimber 22 rifle? Perhaps.
I'll add more dim's & maybe a corresponding sketch.

Your ad says Kimber identified the bases for you. Now you come here and say you were told they're for an FN pistol.

What part of the puzzle is missing here?

Pics of my M82 Kimber .22lr and SVT .22lr. to maybe compare to what you have.

Best I could find without a scope in place.

What's your end goal? Gonna buy a rifle to put them on?

Kimber 2-pc. Scope Mount Bases

"Good Ole Rocky-Top" Been there, loved it! Especially the Music.
To: 2 Sharp2, I've revised my "Gunpost" ad substantially with added pics and many measurements! Hoping for a good outcome.
Sorry but I'm not very familiar with Forums, Practices, & Protocols.

To: Chattanooga Phil,
I was getting advice from 2 sources. Kimber C/Service, and a local gun shop employee. If you don't ask, you don't get an answer!
