While at the range yesterday the left side safety lever broke off. I need to find a replacement and instructions on replacement. Can anyone help??

Call Kimber. I am sure they will send you a new one.

A Kimber replacement part would be your best bet, but there are a lot of aftermarket parts as well. Places such as Brownells or MidWay USA are good sources for 1911 parts. Good luck!!

Instructions for replacing the safety lever are easily found on youtube. Here's just one of a few I found.

I would like to know why it broke. If you find the answer to that question, please post it up.
