Looking to add another to the collection. This would be the first Kimber.
Mfr price is around 1800.00 What would be a street price? To me, the looks are out-of-this-world.I havent found any to compare to as far as fit and finish. I will use S&W performance centers 1911 and 945 offerings as a standard.

The kimber wins in the sexy department, can anyone tell me how they work for tightness and poa and finish? I assume there is custom fitting done, but it's mentioned sort of after the fact.

Could I get input from current Raptor owners able to compare the fit and finish to the S&W performance Center and full size 1811.:conf:

Welcome to the forum from Northern Illinois Volky. A quick search on gunbroker.com show that a NIB Grand Raptor II can be bought for around $1600.00.

Kimbers price list for 2013 lists the Grand Raptor II retails at $1657.00 dealers cost $1377.00 and Master dealer cost at $1219.00 as seen on page 34 and 35 of the Kimber catalog.
