Well lets see, I found the grips on eBay. They were made for a traditional 1911 but I really liked them so I made the purchase "180.00" and modified them to fit the bobtail. It was easy, traced the grips that came with the firearm, drilled for the pins, put them to a sanding block starting with 120 grit, ending with 1000...Walah. They are Sambar Stag.
The Damascus folding knives I also got on eBay. One from Pakistan and the other from London. I was really surprised to see how we'll they are made with brass pins, Damascus steel and camel bone and steer horn handles. Both hand made and very functional. Fun stuff! Makes the pic of the gun exciting I think.
