I saw the 2014 Kimber catalog online and did not see the Kimber Sapphire Ultra 9mm, with the Blue slide and stuff.
Has Kimber stopped production on it or did I just miss it?
Wife and I both like it, I have not seen one in person.

It's still listed on their website but not in the 2014 catalog. They are probably dropping it, from what I've read on various forums the finish is not very durable and wears easily when carried in a holster. Can you say "Safe Queen?"

I liked it because it was different not because it looked durable. I am OK with the occasional "Safe Queen". It would not be the first thing that I have bought that is NOT "practical".

If you really have your heart set on one there are a couple of them NIB listed on gunbroker.com.

Thanks for the headsup. Money is a little tight right now due to a motorcycle accident that my wife and I had in May of 2013. I will keep gunbroker, com in mind.

Chuck43, looked at those last night on gunbroker.com. Some of the auctions were already at or above MSRP! I am still watching them.

I think that if Kimber quits or has already quit making them that the price for a new one is going to start going up.

You are so right. The auction site don't help either. I don't want to pay and arm and a leg. I just kinda wanted one, not a have to have one.
