There's always the possibility of finding a Kimber 'unicorn' at a local pawn shop. I've had very good fortune finding desirable guns at our local shops over the years, especially if you get to the shop the day the item was put out for sale.

I took my new Ultra Raptor to the range for the first time today. I put 150 rounds through it without a hitch. Very accurate, I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Good luck on your first trip.
