Need a quick response from the hive here. I have my hooks into a Kimber Ultra Raptor II, never fired, new in box for $1100 cash thru a private seller.

MSRP is $1415. So it's an OK deal.
Around my area that would be an excellent price, if I was in the market for one I'd jump on that.
Crap, it's a stainless model, hell yes if that's what you want you won't find a better price.
I just checked my LGS. The Stainless Ultra Raptor is selling for $1225 before taxes.
Kimber's website price is $1415. I think I am going to "pull the trigger" on it, no pun intended. Looks like a really sweet gun.

Good decision! I wish I could find one like it for the same price. That was not a great deal but it was a fair price.
I'm glad to hear that you decided to buy it. If I ran into a deal like that around here I would jumped on it even if I really didn't want it. I could easily resell it at a profit.

He figured I deserved a gift for getting my concealed carry license and didn't have a carry gun.
I've been checking around. I paid $1,229. Free shipping and didn't have to pay tax. My local FFL charges me $20. So I'm at $1,250 all in for a brand new one. Cheapest anywhere local was $1,269 cash price. 3% up charge if using credit card, plus tax..... So you did really good.
