I don't know anything about FP-10,but I use "Gunslick"Ultra Lube gun oil and it works just fine for me.I've been using it on my SCCHD for over a year and a half. When I shoot I normally will only shoot between 50-80 rounds,so it's not getting a real heavy workout and the lube holds up just fine. After every shooting I clean and re-lube the gun without fail.I think just about any type of oil will do the trick however.Just do not use grease on your Kimber.Good luck.

I wonder why Kimber does not want you to use grease? I have used slide glide on my Sigs for years they show almost no wear, I don't use it on pocket carry guns though because of the dirt.

I've wondered about this myself, I have a friend that uses "Slide Glide" on his Remington 1911 and as far as I know he's never had a problem with it.
