Yeah I know about the screw not being a screw, it's just a 1/4 turn to get the spring out but what is the correct tool to do the 1/4 turn with?
Its not a standard screw head but I think it's an allen head. I seen somewhere that it was a 1/16 size allen but my 1/16 allen doesn't fit snugly.
And I'm not crazy about snipping anything off from the spring so I got an assortment of springs from Brownells that should let me get the release I'm looking for.

The right size allen key is 1/16".
