I kind of like that thumb cutout. that could be interesting!

Thumb cut out is interesting, but I'm thinking it would try to alter my preferred grip. I start with thumb on strong hand high, place support in position, strong hand thumb goes on top.

Don't think the cut out would work for me. But I look forward to the report.

I suppose it's less expensive than swapping to an extended mag release. Plus the extended mag release poses some CCW issues, in my mind.

Or you could get a thumb relief like I have on my Raasco grips. Makes it a little easier to hit the mag release.

I went with Altamonts. They're real nice too.

If you look closely you can see the thumb relief on these. It puts the mag release in a perfect location and the combination of the relief and the extended slide release makes reloads a snap.
