It would be great for me if they made this holster in a crossdraw at about a 45 degree angle.

You might have to go with something semi-custom. For smaller pistols especially, I prefer crossdraw. It's a more natural motion for me than the traditional 3-4 o'clock on the strong side. Craft Holsters makes a nice crossdraw with something similar to the cant you described, but nothing for the Mako yet. I carried a Sig P225 in one and it worked well. Selection among holsters for the Mako are a bit more difficult.

I don’t really care for the crossbreed tuck holsters. I prefer a leather Galco Royal Guard (Horsehide) for IWB. I do however love the Crossbreed Drop Slide OWB. This is the one for my Mako.

Very comfortable, combine with a Versacarry dual leather mag pouch on the other side and your set. Love their mag pouches.

this is my Craft holster with my Hellcat , wish they made one for the Mako.

they now make one for my Mako. i use it as a crossdraw or a strongside appendix carry.
