Thanks. Last month I turned 45 and thought it would be nice to get a 1911 in a 45 for my 45th. So I went looking and ended up with a Kimber Raptor 2. Beautiful gun. I will probably switch that to my carry gun after the break in. It's been ugly here the last month but I managed to shot 200 rounds and I am very happy with my purchase.

Congratulations on the new Raptor, beautiful gun. At 45 you're a relative youngster on this forum, we're pushing to get more active members so I hope you will continue to join in any conversations that interest you.

Custom is a different model. Your Raptor is either a Government 5" a Pro 4" or an Ultra which has a 3" barrel. They are either stainless or black.

See how much fun it is to post here!
