Until joining this forum I didn't even know Kimber sold rifles. I don't know anyone who owns one. Is it more of a regional favorite?

Thanks it has a Swarovski Z3 3-9x36 on it with Kimber bases and Leopold rings.

Not that many places sell them. They are more expensive than most other production rifles. That kind of money gets you what is in effect a semi custom gun. they are glass bedded and have lots of hand work. they have very elegant lines, and excellent work. The lightweight models are the lightest out there.
They are also made in limited numbers, so you don't see a whole lot of them. If you get the chance to handle one, pick it up and you will see the difference.
Really nice rifles.
