Local pawn shop has a used Taurus PT92 stainless for sale.
I'm thinking about offering them $350 for it.

It aint a Beretta, but it will scratch the itch.

I can’t remember who sent me the email but they had the Beretta 92FS for $499.
Yeah the more I research the more I'm thinking $350 might be high.
I originally wanted an Inox Beretta, but that aint happenin.

I have an old Brazilian imported Taurus 99 and a newer Taurus 92 stamped Miami. There is an important difference. The Old one the trigger is not nearly as curved as the US one . I really am not fond of the newer one as it rubs on the finger a lot more.
The adjustable sights screw on the 99 broke... Taurus wouldn't fix and had no parts for the old one (bastards but they sent me a new guide rod and recoil spring free so maybe not so bastards) But I was able to epoxy it down and made it a fixed sight that is dead on and hasnt failed in 5k or more rounds over 5 years so I am happy.
I also really like that the safety on the Taurus models is on the frame not the slide.

Yep, the worst thing I can say to wifey if I'm going to a gun shop/show is (I'm just "looking" don't have anything in mind to buy!) Wife will answer with OK...show me what you bought when you get home!
