I kicked, tossed, and turned. I like Kimber magazines, I do, but wanted some real proven mags for my Custom ll

Came down to two choices. Tripp Cobra and Wilson Combat's best ETM. The best magazine in the world, IMO anyways.

I know the rule never buy by price and these magazines were the same just about. 3 magazines for the Tripp were 110.00 shipped and I got the 3 ETMs for 86.00 shipped. Range report soon

Sound like you are ready for the range. I have had good luck with Kimber and Chip McCormack magazines in my Pro Carry II. Please let us know how your new ones work out. I may pick up some of the Wilson Combat mags. I know that they come highly recommended for reliability. In a carry pistol, nothing is more important!!!

I use the Wilson Combat ETMs. I have four with about 1300 rounds through them with no FTFs. My gun smith says they are the best and that's good enough for me.

I have 10 Kim-pro tac mags with literally thousands of rounds through them with no problems. that's proven enough for me just saying....

I have 8 KimPro mags for my Ultra Raptor. I do like Kimber mags. I just wanted some top of the line 8 rounders for the Custom ll. That's a 700 round break in and I don't any excuses for any failures.

Got one 9 rd mag with my 9mm Tactical Pro - no dimple on follower. Ordered 2 more from Kimber - dimple on follower, otherwise identical (markings, patent numbers, weld placements, etc) to the one that came in box. Ordered 2 more from Checkmate - identical to the 2 ordered from Kimber. All work great.
