Here is my Solo, actually one of the early ones.
Never a failure, I carry recommended ammo.
Did have the slide and barrel replaced by Kimber early on for slide barrel lug peening. she's sporting new SGM grips and the extension I made using standard 9mm 1911 mag extensions, drilled and tapped the bottom of the solo mag to fit.

Sorry last one a little fuzzy.
Check out my other post on how to protect your privacy with photobucket.
The holster was a one timer, the guy won't make another.

Yup, thanks,

The S cut out in the holsters upper band has a kydex insert which really supports the mouth and keeps it open, I lucked out in finding it.

It was made by Garret, it looks like he is making something new called the Solo possibly for the Solo "coming soon".
It originally came with a plastic clip I did not like, so I had wild bill sew me a clip to natural leather and I put it on the holster.
Works great to carry while on the bike.

Very nice. I have been surfing and looking at options for wood grips. I particularly like that you chose the factory style checkering for yours. Lastly, you've inspired me to renew my quest to extend the mag to enhance the grip. The factory extended mags are functionally ok, but butt ugly.

Best,

Best,
I reckon I am inspired about that trigger you put on, Did the trigger maker give you an installation download? how did you do it?

Here is a picture before I reworked the holster clip (got rid of the cheap plastic one for metal)
Originally had SGM black grips on her, and a thicker mag extension, I learned that I like the shorter extension that I am running currently.

Josey,
You are a master at adaptation! Well done.

Did you apply some type of grip tape to the backstrap and the front beneath the trigger guard? That is a great idea. I have been thinking of sending my Solo out to be checkered, but grip tape would be a lot less $. How do you like it?

Thanks.

Thank you!
The grip tape is the rubberized stuff from VZGrips I know there is less expensive stuff out there but, this works for me. I cleaned the grip of all oils before I put them on, I have the tape on all of my guns that do not have checkering, including the two Super Carry models I have.
The same tapes have all held up for several years and have not started to come loose yet.
