The STP 500 is going to be starting soon at Martinsville VA, NASCARS shortest track and the only track with curbs.

OK, you NASCAR fans (of which I am not) are not gonna like this but, (1) why in the world is a track that short not dirt, and (2) the only cars that should be allowed on a track that small should be go-carts.

Martinsville Speedway was built in 1947 as a dirt track, that was before the formation of NASCAR and the first race run on it was 9/7/1947. NASCAR was formed on February 21, 1948.
