So yesterday I realized that I may need some help. I don’t know if it’s a vitamin supplement or something I can take to improve my memory and focus. I went into Sportsmans warehouse yesterday just to get a box of 4440 ammunition for a newly acquired Ruger Vaquero I inherited and I ended up walking out with this.

Maybe somebody will recognize this but if not it is a Custom Lightweight Night Star in 9 mm. I didn’t have a 9 mm 1911 but I did get to shoot my brother-in-law’s Dan Wesson Vigil and really thought that was pretty amazing.

Never did get the 44 ammo.

I saw that Kimber in the Sportsman's Whs flyer and thought 'what a great deal!' and almost considered buying one 'just 'cause.
A full size 1911 in 9mm is understated pure joy, and those who own or have shot one know well what I refer to.

Pretty good 9mm ammo price JC. I’ve not tried Magtech 9mm but have used some of there other calibers and found them pretty dirty!

I’ve used a few times, never had a problem and I don’t remember if it was dirty or not.

Normally when I see Magtech, it’s not cheap, price wise. If it costs as much as something like American Eagle, I would buy the AE.

i’ve got another problem. I just can’t leave well enough alone. I swapped the grips out for the ones that came on my Stainless ll.
