I won't be using these at $2.25 a bullet either.I was just curious about them and split the cost of a box with a friend.I'm going to the range on Saturday to try them in my PCII but keeping it away from my Solo.As Chuck43 noted, the courts could have a hayday with a bullet that makes a 6in diameter hole in someone..In Nevada its sugested to use what the police use! When they start useing so will I. Most use Speer Gold Dot GDHP.
What a marketing idea!!Show the bad guy that bullet first. that should stop him in his tracks. then pistol whip the lawyer.
I wasn't either.I shot the 20 that I had last week out in the woods and blew up some planks on the side of an old barn.Won't be trying them out again. In the Georgia Outdoor Trader site I found a Youtube video of an independent test that was made on the G2 RIP ammo. It did not fair well in the real world. I'm not impressed!!Check it out:

You know, I have to disagree, respectfully.I agree. That round is a lawyers dream. Even if every other aspect of a shoot was considered legal and justified, the concept of premeditated murder would be front and center with these things.
Yes, but the ammo itself is the crime. In New Jersey it's a felony to own hollow points! I have been told or I read someplace(don't know how true) you can get 10 years per round you have! So depending on what state your in yes ammunition does make a difference!
