I must admit, I'm not only addicted to 1911's, I'm also addicted to Kimbers.
I have owned and loved 1911's for years and a few months back I bought my first Kimber a SS Ultra Raptor. It was after my first range trip with the Raptor that I knew I was hooked. Since then I have gotten a Solo and today after drooling for weeks over a Kimber Eclipse Custom ll, I finally brought it home. I think it was the grips from the Kimber custom shop that put me over the edge. Either way now I have to make another trip to the RANGE. :D

Congrats!!!

Congrats on the new Eclipse! Now you know why gun shops keep the good lookin' pistols in a glass case. They don't want people like me drooling all over them. The glass is much easier to clean!!!:eek:

Enjoy that new Kimber. Shoot the day lights out of it and be safe!!!;);)

Wolf1956, that is a sweet looking gun. Congrats.

I think the Eclipse is a classy looking gun. The kind of gun you pull out and lay on the poker table as you sit down for a long nights work. ;) I like it.

So, you've owned 1911's for years, but now you are a Kimber addict after only a couple of months. Tell us more about what you like about Kimbers. And don't be stingy with the superlatives.
