I also find it odd how much bad press Kimber seems to get in some quarters. My Super Carry Custom HD has never had a single malfunction of any kind in its first 600 rounds.

I ordered a Royal II over a year ago. was told 8 months, was upped to a year. Its over a year now. Kimber says I have waited the bulk of time (what ever that means) dealer says new orders are 18 months. I would never order another. What time frame have you been given?
