Hello all my name is Jacob and live in the Willamette valley of Oregon, I recently purchased a Kimber 8400 Montana in 300WSM. I try to do as much back country hunting as I can so that is one of the reasons I went with this particular rifle, the weight is exactly what I am looking for, I have not shot the rifle yet as I am waiting for my optics to arrive. I have read some horror stories online about these rifles and quite frankly I am worried about some of the issues I am reading. My suspicion is I will get some positive feedback on this forum. I am taking this rifle with me this year on an Elk hunt in Oregons Snake River unit and it is steep rugged country, I just hope I can get the accuracy out of the rifle I need.
