Hello,

Just picked up a new Kimber 8400. Sweet rifle. Haven't fired it yet. I noticed the bolt is a little stiff when cycling quickly. It got a little better after I lubed the bolt. Will it getter with time? This is my first bolt gun.

Also, I would like to break it down and clean it. But I can't find any detailed instructions for doing that online. Obviously, getting the bolt out is easy. Are there any good places online where I can find detailed instructions for doing a thorough clean on the rifle?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

If you purchased it new then you probably already have the owners manual. But just in case you don't:

Gary, the guy you're welcoming started this thread back in March of 2013, 9 months before you joined the forum, have another cup of coffee hahahaha.

Natasha (say goodbye) who brought this thread up has spam in her/his signature and is on the way out the door.

At that hour I don't look at original post dates. I'm lucky to see the words to read.
