Hello all. US Navy Seabee Veteran and firm believer in Kimber.

I have one other forum I visit a lot but wanted to be around fellow Kimber people. What I find other places is that people that can't get into a Kimber bash em. LOL Thought I would start hanging with like minded folks instead.

Welcome from Saint George UT. And thank-you for your service. May I ask what the other forum you visit is? Not sure if that's a personal question or not (-;

I visit 1911 forum too, but gee wiz are those folks polarized on who makes your 1911. It's fan boyz heaven over there. A little too much trash talk for me, most of the time. Like the post entitled Ultra Junk, but then it is all raving about how wonderful the ultra is. He just played into the hands of the Kimber haters. I like it here because we are all fans of Kimber but we also recognize other quality firearms and prefer to speak in the positive, rather than the negative. I also like to poke my head into the National Gun Forum, but they talk about everything under the sun, so it's hard to stay focused.

Hi OldSoul, from mountains of NC. New here too -- friendly folks, but we'e all in the same "club". :) Was new "there" too, and didn't take long to see some people embarrassing themselves, wrapped in a cloak of anonymity.

If nobody has asked you for pics, I will. It's always interesting to see others firearms, grips, holsters, configurations.

Welcome to the Kimber Forum from Kentucky. The first forum I went to was the 1911 Forum. I registered, may have posted once or twice, found this forum and have never been back to the the other one. Good guys here who like to share helpful info and the occasional drink recipe.

Have a Stainless Pro Carry II and buying a Royal II next.

Last week they had four at gunbroker. The "buy it now" price was $1875ish. Which is about 14% under MSRP. The wife has been told. She knows I'm getting one. She just doesn't know how much I'm spending. Some things are better left unsaid. :rolleyes:
