If it was me, I'd field strip the gun, clean, lube, and reassemble. When reassembling, you want the guide rod to be PERFECTLY centered in the slide. This is the case with all semi-autos of similar design.

You wouldn’t take it back? I’m afraid I’ll void any warranty but not sure.

Rusty's instructions are the same as your manual, do that!

Disassembly will NOT void your warranty, unless you go all Bubba Smith' with a grinder and stuff.
