Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois Boatman. In the past it was common for new SOLO owners to post problems with the gun but as of late we're getting more and more good reports. I'd be interested in hearing how yours is performing.

Welcome from the Midwest. I also bought my wife a Solo. Use the ammunition they suggest and it should be fine. If not send it back and Kimber will take care of it.

My wife saw a Sig Sauer p238 with Pink grips, and bought it yesterday. She said that maybe NOW I would leave her gun alone. I said yes I would and I guess I will just have to carry the SOLO myself Oh Boo Hoo. I had been carrying the Solo more than she.

Same here..The Solo we have was for my girlfriend but after the issues we had with it she started carrying my PCII 45.Now that the Solo shoots flawlessly ya think she would give me mine back but no way she says.On the flip side,I get to alternate between the Solo and my Ruger snub nose for daily carry..
