My latest, a Stainless Raptor II has me wanting another Kimber. Why does that always happen? You'd think getting a great new pistol would satisfy the urge.

If you are asking for a recommendation, the Pro Carry II may be about the best gun under $1,000 you can buy, in my humble opinion. First of all, it's a Kimber 1911 .45 cal. I could stop there, but second, it's a Kimber 1911 .45 cal that is under $1,000. That's a lot to like right there. And if you haven't held or shot a Pro model, you should. It's like Mary Poppins...."practically perfect in every way."
