In Vegas there in short supply, at the gun shows have talked to out of state Kimber dealers and they can't get them. One was a Master dealer!
A master dealer (top dealer) here in the valley has more than 20 on order and can't get them.
Same goes for magazines! Look on e-bay, there going for 65.00-125.00 Kimbers web site has them priced at 22.00 or there about. but they don't have any. They are selling to the guys selling on e-bay.
Same goes for the 9mm cartridge, very short supply in this area!
Have not fired the solo yet. I have enough 9mm but only one Magazine. I want a few more mags before I hit the range!
Has anyone used WWB 147 grain in the Solo (Winchester white box target rounds) or do I need to use hollow points.

Called Kimber today to get answer on a question regarding ammo, had the customer service rep. check on my order. Was told the mags were on back order again. My order did not get placed. But in two years when they get some more in maybe they will ship my order. (sarcasm)
13 months and stiil waiting
I ordered in April 2012 a Royal II. Was told 8 to 10 months. Just pasted 13 months. Kimber and dealer are not giving any time when I will get this gun. I will not order a new gun from Kimber or Dealer (or any gun)
again. This has been a very sorry experience.

again. This has been a very sorry experience.When the Solo first came out I wanted one. I stoped at every gun store I past, Left my name and number, checked back often, the sales people got to know me by name. Never got a call, this went on for 2 plus years. I really had the wants for this gun. One day I stoped in my favorite store and found out they had two, sold one and selling the second as I walked in. They lost there favorite status there and then. I requested to know why they did not call, and got a shrug of shoulders no answer except we will be getting more. About a month ago I was passing by and stoped in the same store and they had anothed in the case, I bought it a Solo CDP LS. It came with one magazine. I finally got a second magazine two weeks later paid through the nose on e-bay.I had the same problem obtaining 9mm ammo. I packed up my gear and headed to my county shooting range for the afternoon. I fired about 225 rounds through it, and walked away with a sore hand. It is definitely not a range gun, I should have stoped at 50. The gun kicks like a mule. I had two FTF but that was due to non recomended ammo. I am happy with the gun but wonder why I was so obscessed in getting it. I am still carrying my Sig P-238 and if I had to pick one I think it would be the Sig.

Kimber had magazine's on their website for sale last week. I didn't order any. CS told me they also look on the website whenever anyone calls to order them to determine if they're in stock or not..
