Any members have both these pistols? I can't find a local shop that has both and I would like to see a nice comparison photo with both in frame (same scale). I am wondering which more suited for CC based on dimensions. Something like the two shown in this thread.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois caustic. The link you posted is not working, it requires that you be signed into the forum it's posted on to view it. The two guns are very similar, I don't believe you would be able to see the difference in size if the two were sitting in front of you.

Sig ------Kimber

barrel 3.3 ----- 3.0
height 4.8 ----- 4.75
length 6.8 ----- 6.8
width 1.4 ----- 1.28
weight 28 oz ----- 25 oz
MSRP 1156.00 ------ 1150.00

Welcome to the forum. I can't help you with pictures since I don't own the guns. Go on over to the new members section and introduce yourself, we've got a good bunch here that would like to meet you!

Thanks for posting the pictures, if you review the dimensions I posted for the two guns they are minimal. If it's important the Kimber is .05" shorter, .12" narrower, 3oz, lighter and $6.00 cheaper. Your best bet is to go to your LGS and see how they feel in your hand. I am a multiple Kimber owner and I also own a Sig 1911 C3, while the Sig is a nice gun it's not a Kimber.
