I went to the range yesterday and one of the guys there saw the ammo I was using (Freedom Munitions) and asked about it. We got to talking and he asked if he could try some so I traded him a box of F.M .45's for a box of PMC he was shooting. What a freaking mistake that was. I was shooting my Super Carry Pro that has over 3000 trouble free rounds through it using 5 of my proven Kim Pro Tac-Mags and I couldn't get through a magazine without at least one failure to load. I had been working with my Sig P238 so the SCP was clean, I broke the gun down to check it and everything looked good, I grabbed another magazine and had the same problem. Finally I grabbed a box of F.M. reloads and and all was right with the world again. I wish I had brought another .45 along to see if it was the ammo or my SCP that didn't like it. Anybody else have problems with PMC ammo?

I've always had pretty good luck with PMC. The only ammo that doesn't like my guns is WWB. But I'm with you, PMC isn't worth the price difference and FM ammo works just fine.

I have used PMC in several different calibers. It has worked as well as a few others have. The occasional jam/etc...but nothing big. I keep in mind...cheap ammo is just that. It works really well at the range.
