Hello, new member here and recently purchased my r7 mako about 6-8 months ago. Love everything about this gun, just wish it had a bit longer grip length to get a full grip with the pinky. Have seen a few posts about a 15 round mag coming, does anyone know if kimber may come out with an extended mag?

Your Kimber Mako should have came with one 12 round mag and one 14 round mag.
The mags say 10 round but they arent.
The one with the extended grip holds 14 rounds.

They are 11 and 13 round mags. The extended 13 round mag should give you a full grip and should have come with your pistol. Don’t think I’ve used the 11 rounder, I bought two extra 13 round mags which I carry on my opposite side in a Versacarry dual mag pouch.
Gun is
11+1 for a load out of 12
13+1 for a load out of 14
Both mags only have windows to 10.

I just checked the wifes gun amd I was mistaken.

I saw the Mako in person for the first time the other day and when I looked at the mag it said 10. I thought the capacity was more then 10. Thanks for the information.

They need to do a 33 round fun stick and take a lesson from Glock. Would be the perfect truck mag. I think the 13’s are perfect size for carry but a 33 round just in case would be sweet.

I heard the same thing months back...I like the 13 round round capacity but just can't quite get a full grip with the pinky on it. The 15 round would be perfect.. great gun though. Switch it out on my rotation with the hellcat.

I'd be surprised to see a 15 round mag for the Mako. But... They could do what Springfield did 2 years after the introduction of the Hellcat and introduce a 'pro' model with a longer grip and thus increased mag capacity. 13 rounds is a lot of ammo for a self-defense pistol.
Do what I did. Become a Yazuka and pledge your loyalty. Pinky problem solved.

Mandatory if there is a rule broken and it wasn't severe enough for you to become a corpse. But the oyabun or buchou (the bosses) can demand it as proof of your loyalty. In some ways like the Omerta in Sicilian mob parlance. These traditions go way back. More like the old Sicilian and Napolitan mafia. Not the stuff we have all seen in movies.
