I'm just back from the range where I went primarily to test out some Freedom Munitions .380 reloads in my Sig P238 and I brought along a couple of my Kimbers. I was pretty confident that the .380's were going to be trouble free and I wasn't disappointed. I warmed up the Sig P238 with a box of WWB 95 gr then shot 100 rounds of the FM 100 gr .380. The Freedom Munitions ammo definitely had more pop, I'm really liking it. The Sig is starting to come around and loosen up a little.

I also brought 2 boxes of FM 230 gr .45's and 2 of my Kimbers that as usual ran flawlessly. All together I ran through 250 rounds without a problem unless you consider having to clean 3 guns a problem.

I cleaned the Ruger single six the traditional way.

I sprayed the Ruger Mark II with a generous amount of CLP. We'll see how the CLP works.

I'm pretty sure I use the traditional Hoppes method for Kim.

It's done....... 3 dirty guns + some Hoppes #9 + brushes + patches + oil & Slide Glide = 3 slick clean guns for another week.

Great minds think alike. Right after I finished cleaning my three I came straight up stairs and found myself a nice Black & Tan. Ummm.

Oooops. Time for another.

I'm on my second Johnnie{Walker}and really thinking of leaving the debit card at home when we visit Gander Mountain later. That guy does enough damage online much less live and in person..

yeah, you do that.

Then we'll see how fast you can run home to get it when you come across the "Grand Opening Deal of a Lifetime" gun.

Be sure to time yourself on the run. :D
