I went to the range yesterday with 197 rounds of winchester 230 FMJ, 3 kim-pro mags and the stock mag. When I got my ammo, some rounds had broke out of a box during shipping so I just dumped a bunch into a spare box. (That's where the extra round came from) Went through it in a little over an hour. I haven't shot a handgun in about 10 years so I was a little rusty, but the Kimber performed well. 0 FTE 0 FTF. What's this about a break in period? :) The pics show a couple targets hung horizontally from about 15 yards out. (these were my more successful attempts). It seemed to shoot a little low, but I thought it may just be me. I have a friend I'll be going out with next thursday who's pretty experienced so I'll have a better idea of where it's at. However, I'm pretty sure the sights are fixed on the TLE/RL II, so I'm not really sure how to correct that if it's needed. Chuck, you were right about that winchester ammo being dirty. Took me a while to clean it last night. Good news is I'll probably be through this brick in no time and ready to try some of that ammo from freedom munitions. Sorry only phone quality pics.

Nice shooting for someone that hasn't shot a handgun in 10 years. I think you'll be pleased if you try some Freedom Munitions reloads. Cheaper, cleaner and accurate what more could a guy want LOL.

Not Bad!!!

Not bad at all for a guy who hasn't shot a pistol in 10 years. A bit more concentration on the sights and trigger squeeze and you should be lookin' real good, real quick!!! ;););)

I really like those G-10 grips!!! Looks real good on the stainless pistol!!

BTW, thanks for the range report and pictures!!

At 15 yards that is very good shooting I usually start new shooters out at 10 feet If you have not shot in 10 years I would consider you a new shooter until you get back in the shooting habit.

Looks like a positive experience at the range! Thanks for sharing - I also like the gray grips on the stainless pistol. Very nice look.
