Are you left handed? Or is the orientation of the photo wrong from how the target was hanging when shot.?
Advice? Don't use pink targets!!

Seriously...nice job!

For a new shooter with a new gun I think the target looks great. Keep practicing and having fun.
I think the pic thumbnail is rotated. When it enlarges, it looks like a righty target.

Good shooting!

Really, you guys are getting your undies in a bunch and ribbing poor p010 over pink targets? I think his wife has good taste, they look classy, didn't JMS-Stlou have a thread about coloring targets with magic markers?

LOL

Nothing wrong with pink targets.I actually use pink at times for mine but ONLY if GiGi is at the range with me.I'm guessing my boyz at the range would give me the weird eye if I brought them and I was flying solo..
I'm colour blind! I thought the targets were gray.
Spend the afternoon at the range. Wanted to get my night sights installed but the smith's sight press is broken and he's waiting for the replacement to arrive. Neither of us are fans of drifting the sights (smacking with a punch. don't know why it's called drifting)

Put 100 rounds of .40 down range with the G23. I still tend to place them at 9 o'clock with the Glock. I wonder if it's the long trigger pull. I'm better with the Kimber .... well, duh.

Range officer had a 9mm Sig as her carry. She loaded it up to let me try it out. Trigger is ultra smooth but the pull is about a mile long. When I aimed for the first shot I pulled and pulled and pulled, until I finally backed off to ask if I was doing something wrong. She said you just have to pull it all the way back to the wall to discharge. Grip needs to be rougher, IMO, but she said she likes it smooth. Shoots good. 9mm seems so soft after shooting the .40.
Sounds like you had a good day! A friend of mine recently let me shoot his Sig 9mm. The trigger pull does take all day. I'd rather shoot my Glocks.

LOL, I went back to my G23 after the Sig and was startled by the discharge. Then I went all.... yeah, baby ... caressing that .40 G23.

I've got a 19 and a 26 both Gen3. They don't have soul like a 1911 or a Smith & Wesson revolver, but they certainly do what they were designed to do.

I like that comment, poly guns have no soul.

That is spot on, in my book. S&W revolvers and 1911's have a beauty that appeals to your hand and your eye. I visited two gun stores today. Not needing to buy anything but just to look at the pretty guns. Most guns in the case were poly guns, so I just walked on by.
