Anyone here have any tricks to make it easier to insert the recoil spring during re-assembly?That spring can be an absolute bitch to press down to the point where you can get the bushing turned back over it.Any and all ideas are appreciated.It's for a Super Carry Custom HD.

I have a super carry ultra plus. I bought a special bushing that fits on the guide rod during disassembly from someone on the net that allows very easy assembly and disassembly. The name escapes me but it begins with 1911. Might be 1911 tools??

Thanks.I viewed several you-tube videos last night pertaining to assembly/dis-assembly,and it seemed like almost everyone had a personal trick for easily getting that spring in place and secured.I'll try some of those until I come up with one that I'm comfortable with.
