As suggested, I went the the LGS and asked if they could expedite the process and GIVE ME MY GUN NOW! Maybe it was the fake limp or tears, but they said "We'll find it..." Ten minutes later I walked out (forgetting to limp) with my precious.

This is the first pic, as soon as I got in the car. The pic doesn't do it justice because in terms of being "stunning" as they say on the web site, it is...as advertised. I'd say drop dead gorgeous is more accurate.

The blue color is beautiful...more blue than it looks on the web site. The bone grips look exactly like the pic from Kimber, but the camera phone can't capture such a subtle color. I bought a Hoppe's cloth because the polished flats are quite shiny and show fingerprints. Tonight I'll strip and clean and oil it in preparation for the first range trip.

Porsche, that is one seriously fine looking pistol!!!! Love the bone grips, too. If that thing shoots as good as it looks, you are going to empty the magazine into a single hole grouping that is .22 caliber in diameter!!

I've said that my stainless Pro Carry II looked a bit different than expected when I first saw it due to the stainless slide and aluminum frame being different colors, and that caused it to not look as good as the pic on the web site. But I have to say that this Royal II looks a lot better than the pic on the web site. In fact, I'm sort of surprised how much of the look is not captured in the web site pic. Frankly, it looks like it should cost $3,500.00 and looks every bit as good as the Nighthawks they have at the LGS.
