Just found this one. It says it was posted May 2014, so hopefully I'm not boring y'all with a duplicate video. If you're a great shooter and have your technique down, great! Don't change a thing. If you are like me and could use some solid advice to improve your shooting, this video is worth watching.

That was a really good tape, thank you for providing it to us.Many the time I'll find myself forgetting something as simple as my grip or stance and then a simple correction immediately improves my results, and trust me,I need as much improvement as is humanly possible.:)

Yeah, I liked that video too. I have seen some other video's he has done but not that one. He has a lot of proven points with the bullet holes to back it up.
I need to make some changes! Several things he said not to do I think I have been shooting that way.
I would love to be able to shoot 1/3 as well as Jerry!

Yep, if I could shoot anywhere near as good as Jerry I'd be ecstatic.

I saw several "don't do" items I need to change. #1 is don't hunch over and look though the top of my glasses. I need to stand tall and bring the pistol up to my dominant vision eye, not the other way around. He looks much more relaxed and balance than some of those so-called defensive videos where they are all squatted down, leaning forward, head down to fully extended arms. I never felt comfortable trying to shoot that way, and will never try it again. Balance, stability, comfort, grip, vision .. these are the order of the day.

That's a great training video Gary I wish we had a library to put it in but when I asked I was told maybe if we got enough of them then we could do it. I just hope it doesn't get forgotten and lost, I'm going to try tagging it.

Great vid.... I like the last part about getting chomped by the slide due to incorrect placement.

I think everyone should get bit by the slide once in their life. Because if you do, you will never, I repeat, NEVER do it again. I haven't seen it happen much these days as semis are much more common. But back in the late 70's when we were transitioning to the semis from revolvers, it happened often. It happened to me with my first 1911. I have never forgotten that since and it's never happened again. :)

Chuck, I'm not sure about a library, but we could always have a "Training Videos" thread and put the "sticky" on it.

You or Steve (having the authority) would need to validate that posted videos were of value and not just BS. Unfortunately there are competing styles that, if viewed by a novice, may seem contradictory. There's lots of "crouch and hunker down" type defensive videos out there. Jerry's is the first one I've seen that encourages straight up, squared stance, with head held high to improve vision.

Lordy, he makes it look easy.

Next to having a drink that's one of your better ideas LOL. I just got back from the fitness center and have some stuff to take care of but I'll get on it this afternoon.
