We have lots of pics to share on the subject of grips so here's your chance to.

Show us your beautiful grips that make the gun fun...

My first pic is my new VZ grips that I got for my nine when I get it a new Cerakote paint job down the road..

OK here's a thread just for posting photo's of your custom grips. Please try to keep the chatter down to a minimum. Do your talking with pictures of your grips.

Those burl grips were beautiful. Maybe too beautiful. Perhaps I got wanderlust. Or maybe I didn't like how the Hoppe's 9 made the finish kind of gummy. I also like black on stainless. So I started looking. First I ordered some solid black shiny grips of some mysterious hard substrate like plastic. Okay, there were plastic. SO!?

Those never made it to the range because these golf ball dimple grips with a thumb notch showed up and were an instant hit. :) Funny thing though...the aggressive surface let my hands know they were total bad ass and were taking over. My hands told my brain to keep looking....

Yeah, the edge by the front strap was a kind of saw tooth thing. My three non-trigger fingers on my right hand started getting a little irritated. Nothing I couldn't live with...but hey, I want my hand and my gun to be having dirty thoughts about each other if you know what I mean. Those ebony grips feel goooooood.

My next few set of grips will be for both my wheel guns..I think the Hogue grips have run their course...

It may be time for Johnnie {Walker} to go online to shop...
Tell Johnnie to check out Strike Industries. That's where I got the golf ball dimple grips. I just wish they were rubbery and not as hard. DuraGrips has some chain link style grips that look pretty good. And Raasco has some nice wood grips.

I shot this pic in my office with my phone. It looks a lot better than Raasco's pics. I'll bet I could be a photographer who shoots nothing but 1911 grips. I could corner the market and almost make minimum wage. Yep. Sounds like a plan.
