SIS production numbers

Newbie here. Been carrying Kimber Ultra's for years, and 1911's since the '70s. Trying to investigate the SIS series of Kimbers that were designed by/for the LAPD. Does anyone know when they were made, and how many of each model were made? Any info would be appreciated.
