I never get a tax refund, I always under pay just enough so I have to send them a couple of bucks. What the hell's the sense of giving them my money to use for a year without them paying me a penny's worth of interest on it?

That's what I do too!

Tried that trick once. Had a better year than expected. We ended up writing a check for like $7,000 on top of what we'd already paid. That pissed me off far more than the alternative.

Honestly that wouldn't bother me, I'd rather pay nothing to the government all year long and write a big check at the end of the year if they'd let me. Believe me I would put that money to work making money for me before I gave it to them.
