hi,got my two tone solo carry yesterday.i was a little hesitant about buying one with all the negative feedback i was seeing on the internet but i took a chance,i tell you this is one sweet gun,i fired one box of remington 124 grain golden saber jhp, then 2 boxes of federal 124 grain hydra shok jhp,and also 50 rounds of 124 grain federal american eagle full metal jacket, all fed, fired and ejected perfectly.i cleaned the gun first like the manual said, this is how i loaded the gun that i found the best way,put one round in the clip then put it in the gun and rack the slide, put the safety on,then load 5 more rounds in the mag insert in gun and your good to go.ready to be my every day carry gun.

I too picked one up recently, an STS. While I had heard about the problems too I like the Solo over the SIG 938.

Mine shot 80+ rounds with only one FTF, I purposely limp-wristed the gun to see what would happen. Some of those 80 were 115gr FMJ that Kimber says might not work.

Little gun was extremely accurate as well. Well pleased with my Solo.

I have had mine a few days and have run a couple hundred rounds through it, none of the problems I read about.

The guy I got it from was anxious to get rid of it in my opinion. I am sensing a lot of OE with this gun. I don't think it deserves the bad rap its getting.

That said, make sure you put it together correctly according to the manual, and maybe watch a couple youtube videos on how to assemble.

This is a keeper AFAIAC.

Are you saying it failed to eject, or failed to fire when you fired with a 'limp wrist'?

So I went to the range today and ran a hundred rounds of PMC ball ammo through the Solo without so much as a hiccup! I have no qualms at all about using this gun a an EDC. I'll get him a new spring for his birthday next year.

This is a lot of gun in a very small package!
