My girlfriend just had to have a Solo,so I did my homework and read countless reviews good/bad about the gun.I tried to talk her out of it but her response was always " You have two Pro Carry Kimbers and haven't had a problem"..After getting the Solo,I used Winchester Nato 124 and put 400 rounds through it without a problem. One day while pulling it out of the holster I noticed that the safety's were broken off so we sent it back to Kimber and two weeks later we got it back and now it won't shoot a mag without at least 2 FTE..It's back at Kimber and after reading all the frustrated posts,I'm starting to believe that we have a $800 paperweight...Keeping my fingers crossed in StLou...

So far, my Solo is flawless. This is weird. I am not doubting your stories, BTW. I had a XDS. 45 that was a jammer. At the same time, had another that was flawless. Both are gone because of trust issues.
When you sort out the Solo - but ONLY - when you sort it out, sell it for your own piece of mind.

The Solo was flawless in the first 400 rounds through it with Winchester Nato 124,but anything else was a FTE waiting to happen. My girlfriend wanted to use it as her ccw,but wondering if it will shoot if a bad time comes her way is not the chance we're willing to take.Until we get it back from Kimber, she is using my PCII 45 and wouldn't want to be the bad guy since she can shoot the flies off a manure pile with it..Fingers crossed for the Solo.

My neighbor has horses, hence, flies. Would your girlfriend be willing to..like, maybe rent her shooting skills out? :)
