Hey. I've been a Solo owner and visitor here as a guest for almost a year. I just recently registered. I've enjoyed much of what I've seen here.
I bought a Solo Carry last year and shot the heck out of it. Maybe 1,500 to 1,700 rounds. All 115 except for the short break-in period. No troubles at all. Sold it not too long ago to buy a 1911. Just a week or so ago I traded for a Solo Carry. Shot it for a few days and noticed the extractor needed adjustment. Sent it to Kimber and it is back today. That's one week and three days turnaround. Since sending it off, I bought a Solo CDP. I've only shot it three times but the last time I shot 20 rounds of Federal Champion 115 and it works great.
I have had no trouble with my Solos other than the extractor (and I just think it has a lot of rounds through it and needs to be adjusted). I think they are the coolest 9mm on the market.
I'm sorry to hear those who are having trouble. I wish I could help. Sometimes I think this argument reminds me of cars. It seems like a car that you like just runs better than one you don't.
