Didn't see any robins yet but I did shoot at an outdoor range this morning. Wasn't real cold, but it was covered in knee deep snow which made it impossible to find your spent brass. Rang some steel with 250 rounds from my PCII. It was real good to get out after all the bad weather we've had!

Lucky devil.

There's only one outdoor range within 50 miles of here (it's actually about 25 miles) but they only have paper targets. I figured if I'm poking holes I may as well be in a comfortable environment....indoors.

I badly want to go visit hickok45 and shoot at his backyard range. He just looks to be having too much fun.

Spring is still 34 days away but it has warmed up to the mid 20's. It's been snowing on and off this afternoon and I have a feeling that the snow that's stacked over 4' high on the side of the driveway is still going to be there in May.

Steve I carry a 10x10 blue tarp last time out 238 out of 250 came home. some of them little buggers just don't want to get reloaded again. I don't know what's more fun trying to hit the target or trying to aim the brass to the tarp. either way brass and lead are flying

Didn't think about a tarp until we were there. Oh well! Good news I think my buddy and I are the only ones that shoot there that pick up our brass. I usually come home with more then I went with!

No way, it's 15 here with more snow on the way for tomorrow.
Yes, 30. Problem is though the ice on the Lake is starting to move making things dangerous for the fishermen. Yesterday, two guys in a Land Rover went through the ice around the corner from me. They made it out OK but it's going to cost them big bucks in fines and recovery fees!
