NRA news reports that the State of Illinois mailed out nearly 5,000 concealed carry licenses recently and it has received 50,000 applications. Way to go Illinois residents!

Trust me we do, I belong to two very active groups that actually charter buses and go to the states capitol when ever important legislation is up for a vote and we've challenged the state in court many times. It's how we finally got the restrictive laws in this state over turned.

Today is March 1, so far for the month of March there have been 2 shot and killed and 3 shot and wounded and the days not over yet.

Not yet Steve, I've been waiting for them to get over the minor changes they were making to the forums and requirements. Just enough crap for you to have to redo and resubmit the electronic paperwork. Everything has to be done in a certain time frame or it's invalid. 16 hours of classroom training, 30 round live fire qualification, picture and digital fingerprints. Example if your picture or fingerprints are more then 30 days old they are invalid and must be redone.

Thank you Dan, I didn't see you yesterday or earlier today and was beginning to think that you went AWOL. Yes it looks like the days of you, pbsdaddy, MPO Southy, Gmountain, Mike240 and I being on at the same time and feeling like the forum was really taking off are over.
