Just perusing the Kimber website and the super carry line is no longer on there. Too bad cuz that is one of my favorite.

What the hell is going on with Kimber? My Super Carry Pro is the one that everyone at the range continually asks about and wants to shoot, I love that gun.

I don't know Chuck. I would have never guessed that they would discontinue that line. Seems like they're really pushing the "small" guns. Kimber, stick to what you're good at...

My Super Carry Pro with Bone grips was worth every premium penny I paid for it, glad I got the Super Carry Ultra Plus to.
No idea what Kimber's thinking, with product management.

That's the Classic Carry Pro with the bone grips buddy. They still make that gun but now it comes with G-10 grips instead of bone.

They wouldn't be the first manufacturer to shoot themselves in the foot. Or step on their dick, if you prefer a slightly ruder metaphor. :D

Several months back while doing a GB search for a new Kimber and notice the Super Carry Pro had several listing for around $900. I even had a discussion with Marshall about the price and we found several more in that price range. There is still one listed today for $900. I think it is a great gun that I wish I could have picked up at the time.
I remember seeing them for about $1299-$1350. Maybe the price was just a little to much for the average buyer. I was disappointed when the HD was discontinued because I really wanted one. I know you can still find one but they very expensive.

Because what Kimber really needs to focus it's production capacity on is more revolvers and rifles...

Kimber is still making the "Master Carry Pro" in both 9mm and .45. It's the same gun as the "Super Carry" without the shoulder cocking rear sight, instead it comes with the Crimson Trace Grips that you could always sell off.

Oh right Brother, I had one of those brain farts. So that means the only Super Carry I have is the Ultra Plus.

Wow, had a thought what if Kimber made a Classic Carry Pro with a round butt, Bone grips and Turnbull Blue? I would buy one.

What about the new Aegis line up. Looks a lot like the Super Carry with that round butt!

The Aegis Elite doesn't have all the bells n whistles that the Super Carry line has. To name a few, night sights with cocking shoulder, carry melt treatment, frontstrap fish scale and the slide is also dressed up more. Both guns will shoot the same but you pay for extras.
